It isn't convenient in the slightest, but it works, which is the idea, so I appreciate it! Hey - just wanted to thank you for this workaround. To stop applying strikethrough style, you need to copy a different style of your choice from other words in Notes and apply to newer text. You can apply this style to other words in Notes by highlighting them and then using Option-Command-V.Now that you have brought the strikethrough style into Notes, you can copy this style using Option-Command-C.Switch to Notes and paste using Command-V.Highlight the striken-through word and copy using Command-C.Select the random word and apply strikethrough style. This dialog has strikethrough option just right above Family tab (none, single, double, color). From Format > Font > Show Fonts (or Command-T), bring up the Fonts selection dialog.Open a new document in Pages and type a random word.Following is not the ideal solution, but it works well. But first let me confirm that the strikethrough option is indeed missing in the Fonts dialog available through Notes as has shown us.īut it is still available in the Fonts dialog of the Pages.
